This is the list of features and improvements I've made based on user feedback / my observations. Check out what's completed, what's in progress, and what's planned for the future.
Player form scores now factor in match consistency. Players performing steadily over multiple games receive a boost, while those with erratic performances see a slight penalty. This ensures that players like Haaland, who consistently deliver high-quality performances, are accurately reflected in their form scores.
Goalkeeper form scores now include key performance metrics such as total saves, saves inside the box, and clean sheets. This change ensures that goalkeepers who make significant contributions to their teams are rewarded appropriately in their form scores.
Midfielders now receive bonuses ranging from +0.05 (1 key pass) to +0.60 (7+ key passes), recognizing their creative contributions beyond just goals and assists.
Player profiles now display a form change indicator next to the current form score, showing whether the player's form has improved or declined compared to their previous score. This visual cue helps users quickly assess recent performance trends.
Player profiles dynamically adjust to show:
• Goalkeepers: Saves, Saves (Box), Clean Sheets
• Defenders: Goals, Assists, Clean Sheets
• Midfielders/Forwards: Goals, Assists, Shots
Updated the goalkeeper algorithm to better reward high-save performances even when conceding. A goalkeeper making 10 saves with an 8.8 rating now gets proper recognition compared to a routine clean sheet.
The migration process involved updating dependencies, refactoring components, and ensuring compatibility with the new Nuxt 3 features. This transition allows for better server-side rendering and improved developer experience.
This feature allows users to browse and filter top players by league, position, and number of players displayed. It provides insights into the best performers in various categories, enhancing user engagement.
A dedicated view to track and compare player form changes, helping users identify rising stars and declining performers quickly. User will be able to sort and filter players based on form change metrics. Search functionality will also be included to find specific players.
